My digital works are an iterative process begin with documenting the natural world - capturing the intricate textures of bark, the delicate veining of leaves, the vibrant patterns of flowers. These photographs become illustrations which are transformed into individual print patterns, inspired by divine fractal symmetry. These become the building blocks of richly layered digital paintings, where natural forms are transformed through illustration and collage techniques. Each piece weaves together observed details in natural world around me with illustrated elements, frequently incorporating and reimagining motifs from my past works to create an evolving visual language. These layered compositions blur the boundary between organic and digital realms to represent our current world.
